It is said that Prague is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe. Prague is sometimes referred to as “The City of One Hundred Spires” or “The Golden Prague”.

Prague is the city with history coming back a thousand years. It has been created by some of Europe's greatest architects and artists. Its bridges, cathedrals, and statues are renowned worldwide. Its architecture includes all styles – the Romanesque (Rotundas of St. Martin at Vysehrad, Basilica of St. George at Prague Castle, …), the Gothic when new part of Prague (New Town – Nove Město) was found (Tyn Church at Old Town Square, St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Mailes Synagogue, …), the Renaissance (Belvedere - The Royal Summer Palace of Queen Anne, Prague Castle, Pinkas Synagogue, …), the Baroque (St. Nikolas Church at Lesser Town, Prague Castle gardens, Troja Castle, Nerudova street, …), the Art Nouvea (Prague exhibition centre, Petrin Lookout Tower – reduced Eiffel copy, Parizska street, …).

All these and other interesting monuments you can find at historical center which contains Prague Castle (Hradcany), Old Town (Stare Mesto), Lesser Town (Mala Strana), New Town (Nove Mesto), Jewish Town (Josefov) and Vysehrad.
